Winterfeldt IP Group is delighted to announce the next webinar in our complimentary Diversity Speaker Series! In connection with Black History Month, we are honored to offer a panel discussion with outstanding Black women in the legal profession.
In recent years, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) has risen to the forefront as an important priority for both law firms and other organizations that employ legal professionals. Representation of diverse individuals, particularly Black women, remains extremely low, especially in senior-level positions. Despite these challenges, the practice that became Winterfeldt IP Group has been incredibly fortunate to count many outstanding Black women among our team members.
One such woman is Dinisa Folmar (pictured below), who, after spending several years as an associate with our practice, went on to serve in highly influential, senior in-house roles at several major global brands. Although Dinisa sadly passed away in 2020, her legacy continues to have an enormous impact on both our practice and on many other individuals and organizations throughout the legal community.
Our webinar will reflect on her influence through the eyes of several speakers, exceptional Black women in their own right who will also tell their stories of rising to senior positions in the legal industry. We hope you will join us for a discussion that will undoubtedly be both inspirational and impactful for all members of our community, both diverse professionals and allies alike.
