The World Trademark Review, a leading print and digital publication covering the global trademark industry, recently released the 2020 edition of the World Trademark Review 1000: The World’s Leading Trademark Professionals.
We are honored to report that Winterfeldt IP Group has been included in this list, which focuses specifically on top practitioners in private practice across various local, national, and international jurisdictions. In particular, our Founder and Principal, Brian Winterfeldt, was one of only nine individuals to be ranked nationally in the United States for expertise on generic top-level domains, reflecting our practice’s focus on cutting-edge digital intellectual property issues.
In addition, we are very pleased to announce that Winterfeldt IP Group, as a firm, received a Silver ranking in Washington, DC for prosecution and strategy, demonstrating the firm’s reputation in and dedication to traditional trademark portfolio matters. While Brian Winterfeldt has previously been ranked as an individual, 2020 marks the first year since Winterfeldt IP Group’s launch in 2017, that the full firm has been included on the list.
The World Trademark Review, which has now been compiling its WTR 1000 list for a decade, completes its rankings through an intensive research process involving extensive peer review, client references, and written submissions.
