Denise has worked in the intellectual property field for over 20 years, primarily for large law firms. She serves as Director of IP Services, overseeing all docketing and paralegal functions.
Denise B. Enyart serves as the Director of Intellectual Property Services for Winterfeldt IP Group. Denise has extensive knowledge of docketing and paralegal services, as well as over 20 years of experience in Intellectual Property. Denise graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a Bachelor of Arts and received her Legal Assistant Certificate from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. Prior to joining Winterfeldt IP Group, Denise worked at some of Washington, DC’s most prestigious law firms, most recently as the Trademark Supervisor at Baker Hostetler LLP. Her previous experience also included over 10 years of working with Brian Winterfeldt and his team in progressively responsible docketing and senior paralegal roles.
Denise’s professional experience includes coordinating and supervising trademark paralegals, trademark specialists, docket clerks and records personnel by providing first level support regarding IP-specific inquiries and day-to-day operational issues. She has assisted attorneys and law staff over the years by assigning workflow priorities and allocating resources to projects, ensuring timely completion of tasks, adherence to group policies, and quality control for client work product.
At Winterfeldt IP Group, Denise’s responsibilities include training and managing paralegals and other professional team members, documenting and maintaining group policies, assuring the proper maintenance and updates of the firm’s records and docketing databases, coordinating team meetings, and assisting with all file transfers and audits. Denise also participates in the recruiting and hiring of highly qualified team members for Winterfeldt IP Group. In addition, Denise provides senior paralegal support to Winterfeldt IP Group’s clients through conducting trademark clearance searches, maintaining clients’ global trademark, domain name and enforcement portfolios, and supporting ICANN and other Internet-related matters.
