Kristy is a distinguished law student specializing in intellectual property at the Universityof New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law. Expected to graduate in May 2025 with a J.D.and an Intellectual Property Certificate, Kristy has been recognized as a Hologic and Merchant & Gould IP Scholar and a UNH Law Trailblazers Scholar.
Her academic journey is complemented by her active involvement in the National LGBTQ+ Bar Association and UNH Law’s Intellectual Property & Transaction Clinic, reflecting her dedication to both her legal studies and advocacy for marginalized communities.
Kristy's professional legal experience includes her role as a Corporate Legal Intern at Warner Music Group, where she contributed to copyright litigation cases, M&A due diligence, and trademark applications. She also worked at Warner Chappell Music as an Emerging Talent Associate in the Publishing Deals department, assisting in drafting and performing financial due diligence for music publishing agreements on behalf of songwriters.
Her prior experience before law school include working in the Government Defense sector in both the Department of Defense and Lockheed Martin, where she honed her negotiation capabilities and gained key contractual skills. Kristy's diverse background in law, music, and federal contracting positions brings a well-rounded perspective to the firm.
