Samson is pursuing his Juris Doctor at the University of New Hampshire, Franklin Pierce School of Law, where he has performed well in several courses, particularly those related to legal writing and research, appellate advocacy, and professional responsibility. His academic focus includes intellectual property, technology, and business law.
Prior to joining Winterfeldt IP Group, Samson gained practical legal experience through internships and roles in government, including at the Massachusetts State Police and the Massachusetts Trial Court system. In these roles, he honed his research, writing, and analytical skills, making him a valuable asset to the Winterfeldt team. Samson eventually sought to move from working in government to working in the private sector, where he could focus on his interests in intellectual property and business law. These interests were born out of his experience working for the court system during the pandemic, where he streamlined numerous processes so that the office could function at reduced staff levels. Samson is drawn to the challenge associated with the variety and dynamic nature of intellectual property and business law.
Samson's technical skills extend to various software, including Adobe Acrobat DC, Microsoft Office Suite, and several government systems. He is also certified in Lexis+ Proficiency and has obtained multiple applied legal research certifications through LexisNexis. This summer, he plans to further his expertise by obtaining certifications in information technology.
Samson is excited to be part of Winterfeldt IP Group and looks forward to contributing to the firm's success while continuing to develop his legal expertise.
